A Message from Our Head of School

Dear Families,

We know that finding the right school for your family is important. That is why we founded Chronos — to create the kind of school that we wanted for our children and for all children who have a spark of innovation, curiosity, and desire to learn. At our school, there is no such thing as “too many questions” because questions are such a valuable tool for learning. When a student asks questions, it means they’re engaging and trying to fit what they’re learning into the context of their understanding. That is what Chronos is all about!

Discover

There are lots of ways to learn about Chronos Academy.

Discovery Calls are one-on-one conversations where you can tell us about your goals for your student and learn about our program. You can schedule your Discovery Call directly or reach out via email at any time.
We host monthly tours throughout the year. Click here to see upcoming tours.
Our Summer Maker Camps are also a great way to learn about our school during Summer Break.

Apply

We accept applications throughout the year. For Fall 2026, our application deadline is February 1st. Supplemental documentation is due February 20th.

If you haven’t already, create an account on Ravenna-Hub and fill out your Student Profile. Once this is complete, go to the School Directory and select “Chronos Academy.”

Experience

Once we have your completed application, we are happy to schedule a Shadow Day or Sample Class for your student to experience Chronos Academy first-hand. When we schedule this time, we will build in a chance for you to sit down with our Head of School to discuss your student.

If an offer of enrollment is made you will receive an email to the contact information entered in Ravenna-Hub. Respond and submit the following within the time specified or the space may be forfeit and offered to a student on the waitlist:

10% Tuition Deposit
Signed Student Agreement through the Ravenna student management system.

Q: I’m not sure if my child qualifies as gifted. How do I know?

A: We believe that every student has gifts to nurture. Students who thrive at Chronos love to learn, be engaged in class, and take part in discussions and activities.

Q: Is testing required?

A: No, testing for giftedness is not required. We assess students based on previous school records and our own evaluation.
