Math Circle makes math fun!

Collaborating with Math Circles Network, Math Circle focuses on the enjoyment of mathematical problem solving. Meetings are lively, interactive, and often “funstrating”-- challenging, but in a highly rewarding way! Students strategize to solve puzzles, find patterns in number sets, and tackle open-ended problems while learning about mathematicians through history.

Making, creativity & teamwork!

Odyssey of the Mind (OM) encourages young people worldwide to embrace their creativity and develop divergent thinking skills. Students work as part of a team to create innovative solutions to open-ended problems, building confidence and learning valuable life lessons.

Teams of up to 7 students write a script, act it out and create the props & set for their own 8 minute presentation. They perform for judges at a Qualifying Tournament Feb 20 and potentially at State Tournament in March and even World Finals in May!

Students who are interested in applying should email celeste@chronos.academy to interview for placement on one of our after school teams!
